Man Arrested in Blackburn South Hit-and-Run

Whitehorse Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man following an alleged hit-run collision in Blackburn South overnight.

Emergency services were called to reports a black Holden Calais sedan allegedly crashed into eight unoccupied parked vehicles on Holland Road about 1.40am.

The occupants of the vehicle fled the scene.

A 19-year-old Narre Warren man was arrested in Blackburn South just before 10am and is currently under police guard in hospital yet to be interviewed.

The other occupants of the vehicle remain outstanding, and the investigation remains ongoing.
