A man has been charged after a commercial quantity of cannabis plants were seized from a home on the South Coast.
In May 2026, officers attached to South Coast Police District commenced an investigation into the alleged cultivation of cannabis in North Nowra.
Following investigations, about 11.40am yesterday (Thursday 28 May 2026), officers attached to the South Coast Police District executed a search warrant at a home in Walsh Crescent, North Nowra.
Police seized 107 cannabis plants up to 1.5 metres tall.
A 47-year-old man was arrested and taken to Nowra Police Station.
He was charged with cultivate prohibited plant greater than or equal to commercial quantity.
He was refused bail to appear in Bail Division Court today (Friday 29 May 2026).
