A man has been charged following an alleged domestic-related stabbing at Turrella this morning, NSW Police say.
Just before 4am today (Sunday 4 February 2018), emergency services were called to a home on Mary Street, following reports that a woman had been stabbed.
A woman, with a non-life-threatening injury to her hand, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition.
A 46-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Kogarah Police Station.
He has been charged with;
- Reckless grievous bodily harm
- Assault occasioning actual bodily harm
- Common assault
- Stalk/intimidate intend fear physical (x2)
- Contravene prohibition/restriction in apprehended violence order (AVO)
The man was refused bail and will appear at Sutherland Local Court tomorrow (Monday 5 February 2018).
