Raptor Squad detectives have charged a man wanted on outstanding warrants for drug supply, directing a criminal group and dealing with the proceeds of crime offences in Sydney's south.
On Wednesday 10 April 2018, officers attached to the Eastern Beaches Proactive Crime Team executed a search warrant at a unit in Randwick.
During that search, police located 1kg of cocaine, about $95,000 cash, two machine pistols and three semi-automatic pistols and a large amount of drug paraphernalia.
Following an investigation, detectives identified two people who may have been able to assist with the investigation; however, both were believed to have left the country.
The investigation was handed to State Crime Command's Raptor Squad under Strike Force Vidar, established to target the criminal activities of the Comanchero Outlaw Motorcycle Group (OMCG).
About 8am today (Friday 24 July 2026), detectives from State Crime Command's Raptor Squad – with assistance of Australian Border Force (ABF) officers – arrested a 37-year-old man at Sydney International Airport in Mascot.
He was taken Mascot Police Station where he was charged with the warrants for the offences of, organises/conducts/assists drug premises, knowingly/recklessly direct criminal group assist crime, supply prohibited drug greater than large commercial quantity, and knowingly deal with proceeds of crime.
The 37-year-old man was refused bail to appear at Bail Division Local Court 7 today (Friday 24 July 2026).
