A man has faced Court after being charged over the alleged historical sexual assaults of three young girls in Sydney's north.
In August 2024, detectives attached to Brisbane Water Police District Area Command re-commenced an investigation into the alleged historical sexual assault of three young girls, with the offences dating back to 1988 at a property in Oxford Falls.
Following extensive inquiries, about 9.45am yesterday (Tuesday 28 April 2026), detectives arrested a 78-year-old man at an Oxford Falls property.
He was taken to Manly Police Station, where he was charged with five offences – sexual intercourse with person under the age of 10 years, sexual assault – assault and commit act of indecency, two counts of aggravated sexual assault – victim under the age of 16 years (DV), and indecent assault person under the age of 16.
The man was refused bail to appear before Manly Local Court yesterday (Tuesday 28 April 2026), where he was granted conditional bail, to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday 23 June 2026.
