A man has been charged over an alleged sexual act at a railway station in Sydney's west last week.
On Wednesday 6 May 2026, officers attached to Police Transport Command commenced an investigation following reports a man allegedly performed a sexual act at a railway station.
Police were told about 12.40pm, a teenage girl was on the platform at Parramatta Railway Station, when an unknown man allegedly approached the girl and performed a sexual act before leaving.
Following inquiries, about 1.45pm yesterday (Wednesday 13 May 2026), the man was arrested on George Street, Liverpool.
During the arrest, police allegedly located and seized a small amount of cannabis.
He was taken to Liverpool Police Station where he was charged with intentionally do sexual act with child more than or equal to 10 years and less than 16 years, stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm, possess prohibited drug and fail to appear in accordance with bail acknowledgement.
He was refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court today (Thursday 14 May 2026).
