Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man in relation to several bin fires in Melbourne's CBD in July and August.
It is alleged up to ten bins were deliberately lit on fire by the man in Southbank from 2 July to 11 August.
No properties were damaged in the blazes and there were no injuries.
The 32-year-old Southbank man has been charged with criminal damage by fire (x10) and attempt to commit criminal damage by fire.
He has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 3 February 2027.
