A 23 year old Clarendon Vale man has been charged with a number of offences following the discharge of a firearm in the vicinity of another person in Burtonia Street Rokeby at 11:30 this morning.
Police have charged the man with:
• Aggravated Assault
• Recklessly Discharge Firearm
• Possess a firearm when not the holder of a license
The man has been detained to appear in the Hobart Court Magistrates Court after 10am tomorrow (Thursday 1 October 2026).
The male victim was not physically injured as a result of the incident and police have seized a firearm they believe was used in the crime.
