Man Charged with Gun, Drug Offenses in Deniliquin

A man has been charged with firearm and drug offences in the state's south.

In May 2025, detective attached to Murray River Police station commenced an investigation into the supply of prohibited drugs in the Deniliquin area.

Following investigations, about 6.55am yesterday (Thursday 12 June 2025), officer attached to Murray River Police District executed a search warrant in Poicitiers Street, Deniliquin.

Police seized cocaine, cannabis, more than $5000 cash, two sets of handcuffs, two gel blaster rifles and ammunition, from a safe within the house.

A 22-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Deniliquin Police Station.
