A man remains in a critical condition following an alleged ‘one punch’ attack in Junee overnight, NSW Police say.
About 12.45am (Saturday 15 December 2018), police were called to a club on Broadway Street, Junee, following reports of an assault.
Officers from Riverina Police District arrived at the location and were speaking with a number of patrons when they were advised of an unconscious man lying on the footpath outside.
NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived and treated the 58-year-old man before transporting him to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital where he remains with critical head injuries.
A crime scene remains in place at the club while investigations are carried out by detectives from Riverina.
