Man dies after being hit by truck - Mid North Coast

Officers from Mid North Coast Police District are investigating after a man was struck and killed by a truck in Kempsey overnight.

About 12.50am (Tuesday 6 July 2021), emergency services were called to the Old BP Service Station on Macleay Valley Way, near Goulds Lane, Clybucca, following reports a man had been hit by a truck.

On arrival, officers found the body of a man in the parking bay of the known truck stop.

The driver of the truck was taken for mandatory testing.

A crime scene was established and an investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
