Man dies after fatal crash - Hornsby

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Sydney's north-west at the weekend.

About 2pm yesterday (Sunday 21 November 2021), emergency services were called to Peats Ferry Road, near the Pacific Highway at Hornsby, following reports a taxi had left the roadway and hit a pole.

The driver – a 69-year-old man – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, died at the scene.

The two passengers were uninjured.

Officers attached to Kuring Gai Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will now be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
