Ballina Shire Council will be replacing street lighting lamps along the northern side of Main Street and Ballina Road.
The works will take place between Bugden Avenue and Green Street, from 9.30am to 2.30pm on Monday 2 November and Tuesday 3 November 2026, weather permitting.
What to expect:
- Main Street may be reduced to one lane under traffic control, between 9.30am and 2.30pm.
- Bugden Avenue and Ballina Road may be stopped under traffic control for short periods, between 9.30am and 2.30pm.
- Motorists travelling in either direction should expect delays, allow extra travel time or consider an alternate route where possible.
- Footpaths and pedestrian access to businesses will remain open.
