Man dies after single-vehicle crash - Coffs/Clarence

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash on the state's north coast yesterday.

Around 4.30pm (Sunday 25 September 2023), emergency services were called to Bucca Road, Bucca, following reports of a ute crashing into a pole.

Fire and Rescue NSW freed the driver from the vehicle before NSW Ambulance paramedics started treating the man; however, he died at the scene.

The man is yet to be formally identified, but is believed to be aged in his 30's.

Officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Police District established a crime scene and have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
