Man dies in single-vehicle crash at Goodooga

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state's north-west overnight.

Police believe a 34-year-old man was travelling north on the Goodooga Road between Brewarrina and Goodooga, about 11.50pm yesterday (Sunday 4 August 2019), when the vehicle hit a steel railing on Dumbrell Bridge, about 1km south of Goodooga.

Emergency services were notified and responded immediately, however, the man died a short time later.

Officers attached to Central North Police District established a crime scene and continue investigations.

A report has been prepared for the Coroner.
