Man dies whilst scuba diving - Kurnell

A man has died while scuba diving in Sydney's south today.

Just before 12.15pm today (Saturday 30 October 2021) emergency services were called to Kurnell National Park, Kurnell, following reports a man had been pulled unresponsive from the water whilst scuba diving off the coast of Inscription Point.

Divers conducted CPR on the man until paramedics arrived, however he died at the scene.

The man is yet to be formally identified.

Officer attached to Sutherland Police Area Command attended and the man's body was recovered with the assistance of Marine Area Command and PolAir.

A crime scene has been established and a report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
