A man is in a critical condition after being stabbed on the Central Coast this morning.
Just after 4am (Monday 5 October 2020), emergency services were called to a service station on The Entrance Road, Long Jetty, following reports of a stabbing.
A 28-year-old man was found suffering a stab wound to his shoulder. He was treated at the scene before being taken to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition.
Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District attended and have been told a group were seen running from the area prior to their arrival.
A search of the area has commenced, and inquiries are continuing.
