An 86-year-old man reported missing from Avoca Beach has been located safe and well.
Officers from Brisbane Water Police District commenced an investigation after the man was last seen at Avoca Beach at 8am yesterday (Wednesday 6 July 2022) and had not been located or contacted since.
Following inquiries, the man was located by a member of the public at Paterson about 4pm today (Thursday 7 July 2022).
Police would like to thank both the public and media for their assistance.
