A man missing from the state's Mid North Coast has been located safe and well tonight.
An 83-year-old man was reported missing after he was last seen at a home on Explorers Way, Lake Cathie, about 10am yesterday (Sunday 18 December 2022).
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Mid North Coast Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.
Following extensive inquiries and a geo-targeted appeal, the man was located safe and well in Bellbrook about 7.30pm today (Monday 19 December 2022).
Police wish to thank the community and the media for their assistance.
