Man missing from Sydney's South West: Police appeal

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's South West.

Phong Luu, aged 72, was last seen at an address on Broomfield Street, Cabramatta, about 6am yesterday (Sunday 7 May 2023).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Phong is described as being of Asian appearance, about 160cm tall with slim build, and short grey hair.

He was last seen wearing pyjamas, but may now be wearing a button-up shirt, jeans, and a pair of joggers.

He is known to frequent the Cabramatta and Fairfield areas, and may be driving a grey Mitsubishi Lancer with NSW plates ZIG942.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
