Man serious after single-vehicle crash - South Coast

A man has suffered serious injuries in a crash on the South Coast yesterday.

About 6pm (Friday 5 June 2020), emergency services were called to Moss Vale Road, Cambewarra, following reports of a truck crash.

Police have been told the truck was travelling east when it veered off the road and rolled down an embankment.

The driver, a 41-year-old man, suffered lacerations to his head, a collapsed lung and lower back injuries.

He was treated on scene before being airlifted to St George Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Officers from South Coast Police District are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
