A man will face court in August after being involved in an altercation at a children’s sporting match last weekend, NSW Police say.
Police have been told about 10am Saturday 24 June 2017, an under 7s rugby league match was being played on Renown Reserve Parkview Avenue, Oatley, when an altercation occurred between spectators.
Officers from St George Local Area Command were alerted to the incident.
As a result of inquiries, about 8.30pm today, a 37-year-old man was issued a Court Attendance Notice for offensive behaviour.
He is due to appear at Sutherland Local Court on Tuesday 8 August 2017.
Inquiries into the incident are continuing.
