Police have arrested and charged a man wanted on an outstanding warrant in Sydney's west.
Officers from The Hills Police Area Command commenced an investigation to locate a 37-year-old man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for an alleged kidnapping.
Following extensive inquiries and a public appeal, a 37-year-old man was arrested at Blacktown Police Station about 7.30pm yesterday (Saturday 14 January 2023).
He was charged with the outstanding warrant and refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today (Sunday 15 January 2023).
Investigations are continuing.
