Always pushing the boundaries and looking for innovative recipes to bring to its customers, Miami Bakehouse has been rewarded for these efforts at the 2021 Perth Royal Food Awards announced last night at Claremont Showgrounds.

Taking out the Most Successful Pastry Exhibit Reward for all its entries across the competition, Miami Bakehouse was also awarded Champion Pastry Exhibit for its new healthy raw slices range Including Raw Raspberry, Choc Pistachio and Snickers, all handmade with organic coconut oil and already achieving a loyal fan of followers looking for healthier treats.

Continuing the healthy baking focus Miami Bakehouse entered the first ever plant-based gourmet pie in the Perth Royal Show's 100+ year history.

Judged against other meat based protein gourmet pies, the Not-Beef Fajita recipe, made with soy based protein, impressed the judges and was awarded a silver medal.

Miami Bakehouse once again set the standard for the Beef Pie category taking out the Gold medal with its classic steak pie recipe. Made with tender Angus beef from the Stirling ranges in WA's Great Southern region and it's classic unique gravy recipe, this pie can do no wrong, adding the latest award to it's already impressive collection.

The team followed this success in the Gourmet Open Pie Category with a Gold medal for it's Caramelized Ginger Chilli Pork, made with WA's own Plantagenet Pork and a Bronze medal for Texan Chilli Beef, made with Stirling Ranges Angus beef.

The expert baking effort that goes into creating competition entries is the same level of effort that goes into creating Miami's unique recipes across its full range of delicious baking, available at it's five bakery cafes every day.

Other awards at the Perth Royal Show Food Awards included a Silver Media for Carrot Cake and Bronze Medals in Seeded Sourdough, Cheesecake and Anzac Biscuits bring the tally to 9 new medals.
