Mandurah Shopping Centre Fire

Officers from the WA Police Arson Squad are currently investigating a fire at a shopping centre in Mandurah in the early hours of this morning, Friday 22 March 2024.

About 1.40am, an unknown person has forced entry into the rear of a department store located within the shopping centre on Pinjarra Road. The person entered the storeroom and set fire to items stored on shelving before fleeing on foot.

The fire badly damaged the storeroom before the store sprinkler system controlled the blaze. Department of Fire and Emergency Services attended to extinguish the fire.

Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
