Mannum locals invited to have say on health services

Residents of Mannum and surrounds are invited to have their say on the future of health services for their community and planning for Mannum District Hospital.

TheMannum service plan will closely look at what health services are needed in thearea, now and over the next five to ten years.

The community is invited to share their views and experiences as well as any barriers to accessing services via survey or at Mannum community drop-in sessions.

Everyone is welcome to the sessions which will be held at Mannum Senior Citizens Clubroom, Mannum Leisure Centre, on 21 March from 3:30pm to 6:30pm, and 22 March from 8:30am to 11:30am.

The survey is also accessible via Mannum District Hospital, Mannum Medical, Mid Murray Council offices at Mannum and Cambrai, Terry White Chemmart Mannum Green, and the Ladies Hospital Auxiliary shop. It is also accessible online at Mannum District Hospital Community Survey.

An advisory group has been developed to lead the process, with representation from local health service staff, Mannum Health Advisory Council, leaders from Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network and staff from the Rural Support Service. The completed service plan is expected to be available later this year.
