On 16 July, legislation on the restriction of alcohol in 344 areas where First Nations people live will expire in the Northern Territory. CDU Professor of Law Professor Elizabeth Spencer says Indigenous and non-indigenous organisations have come out against lifting the restrictions without first consulting with the First Nations communities it affects.
