An investigation continues at three crime scenes after an alleged shooting in Sydney's north west today.
About 1am today (Saturday 10 May 2025), emergency services were called to Wilga Place, Marsfield, following reports of shots fired.
On arrival, Officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command were told a 28-year-old man had parked on the street and exited his vehicle before he was allegedly shot at.
After the shooting, a man was seen entering a black car before driving away.
Police found that some of the shots had struck a home behind the man.
A short time later, police were called to Ruse Street, North Ryde, following reports a bullet had broken a window and was lying on the floor inside a home.
Police believe that both homes were struck in the single shooting incident, but do not appear to have been targeted intentionally.
About 1.25am the same day, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were called to Mardi Street, Girraween, following reports of a car fire.
Police located a black BMW X4 sedan well alight at the scene.
The fire was extinguished a short time after Fire and Rescue NSW arrived.
There have been no reports of injuries in relation to any of these incidents.
Police established multiple crime scenes to commence an investigation into the incidents and whether there are any links.
