Mental health outcomes in transgender, nonbinary youths receiving gender-affirming care

What The Study Did: This study of 104 transgender and nonbinary youths ages 13 to 20 found that receiving gender-affirming care, including puberty blockers and gender-affirming hormones, was associated with lower odds of depression and suicidal thoughts over 12 months.
