Message from Nationals Federal President, Mrs Kay Hull AO

Message from The Nationals Federal President , Mrs Kay Hull AO

I am happy to advise that The Nationals Federal Management Committee has appointed Lincoln Folo to the role of Federal Director.

Many of you will know Lincoln in his capacity as State Director of the Liberal National Party in Queensland and his work in Federal and State Election campaigns over many years.

Lincoln brings to the role nearly 25 years of experience in state and federal politics in senior political administration, campaign, government roles and has also been a willing party volunteer.

Lincoln started his career working for Larry Anthony in Richmond in the successful 1998 GST election and has been a member of the Nationals across the country as well as the LNP. He has significant experience in financial and business administration coupled with extensive understanding of the dynamics in the modern political campaigns we need for the future. Lincoln has valuable experience outside of politics with industries that are reflective of our communities.

His experience, understanding and connection with our State organisations will be of great value to the Federal Secretariat and we are confident that he is well placed to deliver for our Federal organisation as we face new challenges along with significant opportunity over the next three years.

We look forward to welcoming Lincoln when he commences the role in early December.

I would also like to take the opportunity to thank the outgoing Federal Director Jonathan Hawkes for his service to the Party and wish him and his wife Jo, and his daughters, all the very best for the future.
