Midland aggravated burglary

Midland Detectives are seeking public assistance with their investigation into an aggravated burglary that occurred at a home in High Wycombe on Thursday, 5 November 2020.

Around 1.45am two men, with their faces covered, forced entry into a home on Chullwyne Mews and were confronted by the occupants, a 65-year-old woman and a 75-year-old man.

One of the offenders sprayed pepper-spray in the woman's face and assaulted her causing a serious head injury (bleeding on the brain). Both victims have been traumatised by the incident.

The offenders stole various items including some jewellery before fleeing the home.

The investigation is ongoing and Detectives wish to speak to several people who were seen in the area of the Ollie Worrell Reserve around the time of the incident, who they believe have information which can assist them. The people are:

• A man on a skateboard with a guitar;

• Two males riding bicycles towards Ollie Worrell Reserve; and

• The driver of a dark coloured sedan that was seen driving along Worrell Avenue.
