Midland Car Yard Damage Charges

Midland Police have charged three juveniles as a result of an investigation into a damage complaint in Midland on Wednesday, 30 April 2025.

Sometime between midnight and 1.00am, police will allege several vehicles parked at car dealerships along Great Eastern Highway were vandalised. Most of the vehicles damaged were brand new and sustained significant damage to their exteriors, including smashed windscreens, headlights and dented panels.

Following a short, focused police investigation, with significant support and information from the local community, police located and arrested the juveniles in relation to that incident that same morning.

A 14-year-old female has been charged with one count of 'Criminal Damage' and one count of 'Trespass';

A 13-year-old female has been charged with two counts of 'Criminal Damage', two counts of 'Trespass' and two counts of 'Stealing';

The pair are both due to appear before the Midland Children's Court at a later date.

A 12-year-old male has been charged with two counts of 'Criminal Damage' and two counts of 'Trespass'.

He was also charged with one count of 'Assault Retail Worker' and one count of 'Stealing' for unrelated incidents that occurred in Bellevue on 29 April 2025.

He is due to appear before the Perth Children's Court at a later date.

Two other juveniles aged 14 and 16 were referred to the Juvenile Justice Team for Trespassing.
