The letter from Jim McMahon OBE, Minister of State for Local Government and English Devolution, to the Thurrock Commissioners in response to their fifth report. The letter sets out that the Secretary of State is minded to issue new Directions under section 15 of the Local Government Act 1999 to extend the statutory intervention until 30 April 2028.
The Commissioners recommend the intervention should continue and is extended beyond September.
