A boy missing from the state's Murray River region has been located safe and well.
The 13-year-old was last seen leaving Ainslie Avenue, Lavington on Thursday 1 September 2022.
When he could not be located or contacted, he was reported missing to officers attached to Murray River Police District, who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following inquiries and a public appeal, the boy was located safe and well at a fast-food restaurant in Wangaratta, Victoria, about 5pm yesterday (Wednesday 6 September 2022).
Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
