Missing teenager at Bundaberg

Police are seeking public assistance to locate a 16-year-old girl reported missing from the Bundaberg region.

The girl was last seen on Hills Road, South Bingera around 5am this morning (January 3) and has not been heard from since.

She is described as Caucasian, approximately 160cm tall, slim build with fair hair. She is believed to be carrying a backpack and likely to be wearing either black or grey clothing.

Family and police are concerned for her welfare due to the girl's young age and disappearance being out of character.

The girl has links to the Rockhampton area.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact police.
