Monash Expert: International community accuses China of widespread hacking campaign

A Monash University expert is available to discuss the US' Justice Department's announcement of charges against four Chinese nationals accused of being part of a hacking group that attacked companies, universities and government entities in the US and abroad between 2011-2018.

Dozens of countries, including Australia, are accusing China of engaging in malicious cyber activities. This week, the Federal Government blamed China for a massive global hack on the Microsoft Exchange software that compromised tens of thousands of computers earlier this year.
