Monash has launched dual degrees in Information Technology and Computer Science with Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS).

Students will commence their Computer Applications, or IT degree, at MRIIRS before transferring to Monash to complete two years of the bachelor degree in specialisations including Business Information systems, Software Development, Data Science and Cybersecurity.

Monash University Faculty of IT Dean, Professor Ann Nicholson, said these dual degrees reflect a shared commitment to enhance the student experience and equip students with the interdisciplinary expertise, innovative mindset, and practical skills needed to lead and adapt in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

"At Monash University's Faculty of IT, our programs go beyond the classroom – they empower students to apply their skills to real-world challenges, with a strong focus on using technology for social good and creating positive impact in the communities around us," Professor Nicholson said.
