Money back for going out

The Victorian Dining and Entertainment Program offers rebates on dining and entertainment experiences across Bayside and the rest of Victoria*.

  • Customers can claim 25% back on eligible expenses
  • Claims are now open
  • Dining experience rebates are only available between Monday and Thursday
  • Entertainment experience rebates are on any day of the week.

Each customer can claim up to $125 in combined rebates across the Victorian Dining and Entertainment Program.

From Tuesday 29 March, you can claim 25% back on your bill when you spend at least $40 in hospitality venues anywhere in Victoria outside of the City of Melbourne municipality. For rebates on dining experiences in the City of Melbourne.

Eligible hospitality businesses include:

  • cafes and restaurants
  • bars and pubs (food must be purchased)
  • registered clubs - excluding private clubs not open to the public
  • breweries, distilleries and wineries (food must be purchased)
  • fast food and take away outlets, juice bars and kiosks
  • restaurants and cafes open to the public within accommodation such as hotels
  • hospitality venues within sporting, arts and theatre precincts
  • food courts
  • cinemas
  • temporary food premises including mobile food trucks, vans, canteens and trailers.

This is only available for dining experiences between Monday and Thursday. The rebate is not available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday dining. The offer will be on a first come, first served basis until funds are exhausted.

From Tuesday 29 March, you can claim 25% back on the total cost of your entertainment experience when you spend $40 or more.

This includes:

  • cinemas
  • exhibitions and conferences
  • museums, galleries and zoos
  • live performance, including theatre, music, comedy, literary events and fashion shows
  • theme parks, water parks, amusement parks, experiences and attractions

Rebates can be claimed for entertainment experiences anywhere in Melbourne and Victoria, on any day of the week.
