More Than $66,000 In Funding Provided To Local Groups

Camden Council has awarded more than $66,000 in funding to 21 local community groups and organisations through its latest Community Grants Program.

The funding will support a range of initiatives that strengthen community connections, enhance local services and create more inclusive opportunities for Camden residents. Grants were provided across several categories, including community service delivery, local event sponsorship and disability inclusion projects for small to medium businesses.

These initiatives will deliver meaningful benefits for the Camden community, supporting key community outcomes and enhancing residents' quality of life. The funded events will help foster a stronger sense of community connection, while many encourage improved physical and mental health and wellbeing. Several initiatives also celebrate cultural diversity and inclusion, creating opportunities for greater participation, encouraging creativity and strengthening a sense of belonging for people from all backgrounds across Camden.

  • Eventing Equestriad Australia;
  • Spirit of Camden;
  • St Johns Anglican Church Parish Council;
  • The Broken Path Inc;
  • Anglican Church Property Trust Diocese of Sydney;
  • Camden Show Society;
  • Camden Equitation;
  • Camden & District Netball Association;
  • Macarthur Rose Society/The Rose Society of NSW Inc;
  • Camden Harness Club;
  • Genovation Ltd;
  • Oruma Inc;
  • Macarthur Australasian Native Orchid Society;
  • Macarthur Magic Special Needs Football Club;
  • Tennis Seniors;
  • South West Telugu;
  • The Junction Works Health & Wellbeing;
  • Small Ford Club of NSW;
  • Hope Anglican Church Leppington; and
  • Sol Korean Language School.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said the grants reflected Council's commitment to supporting the people and organisations that help build a stronger community.

"The Community Grants Program is about investing in the people and organisations that make a real difference in the lives of our residents every day," she said.

"These grants will help local groups deliver important services, bring people together through community events and create more inclusive spaces and opportunities across Camden.

"Our community sector plays a vital role in making Camden a connected, welcoming and vibrant place to live. Council is proud to support their efforts and help turn great ideas into meaningful outcomes for our residents."
