Mosman Park incident 18 April

Fremantle Detectives have charged a man after a pedestrian was struck by a car in Mosman Park on Sunday, 17 April 2022.

It will be alleged around 10pm the man was involved in an altercation with a group of people in the carpark of a hotel on Stirling Highway, Cottesloe.

It will be further alleged the man driving a SAAB has followed the group, who were occupants of a Toyota Landcrusier, along Stirling Highway, onto Willis Street, Mosman Park and struck their vehicle before both vehicles stopped.

The SAAB reversed, hitting a parked vehicle which then struck another parked vehicle.

The SAAB was driven forward and struck a 24-year-old man. As a result he was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital with leg injuries.

The driver of the SAAB, a 29-year-old man from Mosman Park has been charged with Dangerous Driving Occasioning Grievous Bodily Harm.

He is due to appear in the Fremantle Magistrates Court on 13 May 2022.
