Mount Morgan, Park Avenue Amenity Upgrades Nearing Completion

Rockhampton Regional Council is putting the finishing touches on the amenity blocks at Mount Morgan's No. 7 Dam and Queens Park in Park Avenue.

Both facilities will receive new seamless flooring, designed to improve hygiene, simplify maintenance, and enhance the overall reliability and user experience for park visitors.

These upgrades form part of Council's ongoing Amenities Renewal Program, which saw the construction of a brand-new amenities block at Mount Morgan to replace ageing and deteriorated facilities, while Queens Park received improvements including fresh paint, along with electrical and plumbing upgrades.

The new flooring at the No. 7 Dam amenities will be installed from Monday, 25 August, with works expected to take one week to complete.

Upgrades at Queens Park will begin on Monday, 1 September, and include painting the concrete paths and installing seamless flooring. These works are expected to take approximately 10 working days.

Each site will be temporarily closed to the public while flooring works are underway.
