Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash in Mumballup, south of Collie, yesterday, Tuesday 18 October 2022.
About 9:00am a Mazda utility was being driven north on Collie - Preston Road, near Donnybrook - Boyup Brook Road. At the same time a Holden Commodore utility was being driven south on the same road. The two vehicles collided with each other.
The 50-year-old male driver of the Holden Commodore died at the scene.
The 79-year-old male driver of the Mazda was taken by St John WA to Collie Hospital with minor injuries.
