Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man in relation to the death of a man in Sale this morning.
Police were called to the intersection of York Street and MacAlistair Street after reports a man had been allegedly stabbed, about 1am.
Officers located the man and immediately provided first aid until ambulance crews arrived, but he died at the scene.
A 20-year-old Sale man has been charged with murder.
He has been remanded to appear in the Sale Magistrates' Court on 8 May.
