Clarence Valley Council's tourism My Clarence Valley brand's winning streak continued this week with the team walking away with bronze at the 2025 NSW Tourism Awards held on Thursday, 27 November at Waterview in Bicentennial Park.
With over 58,000 followers across Facebook and Instagram, My Clarence Valley showcases the Clarence Valley through the eyes of our locals and visitors sharing moments from coastal areas like Yamba, Iluka and Wooli, to the river towns of Maclean, Ulmarra, Grafton and beyond.
My Clarence Valley was recognised at the awards for its creative, sustainable approach to the visitor economy and destination marketing.
Clarence Valley Council's General Manager, Laura Black, praised the team and highlighted the hard work they have done over the last few years.
"I'm immensely proud of the dedication and talent of our small team in elevating My Clarence Valley to where it is today.
"The work that went into projects like the development of the Clarence Valley Destination Management Plan and the redeveloped Clarence Valley Visitor Information Guide outlines the future direction for sustainable tourism development and demonstrates a strong commitment to relationships with our local businesses.

This year, the awards attracted 230 nominations from across the state, with 125 of those progressing as finalists across 30 categories. There was a record number of first-time entrants, highlighting the growing recognition and significance of the Awards as both a celebration of excellence and a valuable tool for business development.
Congratulations to the Harwood Hotel for taking silver in the Tourism Restaurants & Catering Services category and the Jacaranda Festival for also representing the Clarence Valley at the awards.
