Following the assessment, the NSO has consolidated the relevant data from the selected government institutions with the support of the ILO. The NSO will set up and test data integration and ETL workflows to ensure the regular updating of the database.

Sh. Ariunbold, Director General, Census and Data Analysis Department of NSO, highlighted that the activities of self-employed workers are highly dependent on economic conditions and are difficult to determine. As a result of these statistical and analytical outputs, researchers and policymakers will benefit from this integrated database. We are preparing a pilot consolidated database of self-employed workers, including permit and license-related records where available.
New joint initiatives can discover and design inclusive and resilient digital solutions, leveraging data, automation, and government frameworks to tackle the informality within the country.
