National Police Remembrance Day Metal Pins

Media planning to attend this year's National Police Remembrance Day (NPRD) marches across the state, and who wish to purchase a metal badge to wear as a mark of respect, can do so through the Queensland Police Legacy Scheme.

National Police Remembrance Day will be observed across the state on Tuesday 29 September.

Media attending these events who wish to purchase a metal badge are able to do so through the Queensland Police Legacy Scheme.

In Brisbane, the march will commence at 9am and proceed through Queen and George Streets before concluding at the Queensland Police Memorial in the Brisbane Botanic Gardens.

The Queensland Police Legacy Scheme (QPLS) is offering metal Police Remembrance Day badges for $3 each.

All funds raised go directly towards providing ongoing support to eligible families of:

  • Deceased Queensland police officers.
  • Queensland police officers whose partner/spouse is deceased.
  • The families of Queensland police officers with either parent suffering from a terminal illness.

If you would like to purchase these badges you can do so online at the Queensland Police Legacy Scheme website, orders must be submitted prior to Thursday 17 September.
