Residents can now Meet the Mayor at locations across our region, with the new initiative aiming to provide opportunities to have meaningful conversations and share Council-related matters that mean the most.
The first Meet your Mayor sessions will be held along the Mallee Track:
- 9.30am – Thursday 1 May - the Spiilt Milk van in Underbool
- 11am – Thursday 1 May - Mallee Bakery - Ouyen
Mildura Mayor Cr Helen Healy encouraged residents to use the sessions to ask Council-specific questions or simply say hello.
"This is a chance for free and open conversation," Cr Healy said.
"Being able to get out into the community and connect with residents is one of the highlights of being Mayor, so I'd like to see as many people as possible at one of the sessions."
Cr Healy will be visiting townships across the municipality over the coming months as part of the initiative.
