Maryborough Education Centre staff member and Energy Breakthrough volunteer Jordan Macilwain has been appointed to the Energy Breakthrough Section 86 Committee, a report at Tuesday night's (20/10) Council Meeting noted.
Jordan has a long history with the annual Energy Breakthrough as a past participant, volunteer and as a teacher.
Central Goldfields Shire Council CEO Lucy Roffey congratulated Jordan on her appointment to the organising committee.
"Jordan will be a welcome asset to the Energy Breakthrough Section 86 Committee, which oversees organisation and management for the event," she said.
"Jordan will provide a new set of expert skills and a new perspective to the committee as an education professional and a mentor of our local young people who take part in the Energy Breakthrough."
