We have launched a new interactive mapping tool that helps you visualise and explore information about our regional communications grant programs.
The map includes key information on the:
• Mobile Black Spot Program (MBSP)
• Mobile Network Hardening Program (MNHP)
• Peri-Urban Mobile Program (PUMP)
• Regional Connectivity Program (RCP), and
• the Strengthening Telecommunications Against Natural Disasters (STAND) initiative.
The map displays information layers like existing and new mobile base station locations, completion status of new sites, funded projects and coverage data from mobile network operators.
You can also view geographic and administrative boundary data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) and the Australian Electoral Commission, including information like local government areas, post codes, suburbs, Regional Development Australia boundaries and remoteness areas.
The map contains pre-set views for each of our regional programs. It also allows for sharing of a specific view you navigate to.
Information on the map will be updated quarterly and as programs reach major milestones.
