In line with new State Government directions, entry changes will be implemented at select Campaspe Shire Council services, effective Friday, 29 October at 6pm.

Chief Executive Officer Declan Moore said the directions will require customers to be fully vaccinated, or to show evidence of a medical exemption, at several Council managed services.

You must be double vaccinated (or otherwise medically exempt) to visit the following facilities:

  • Campaspe Shire Council Library Branches
  • Echuca War Memorial Aquatic Centre
  • Port of Echuca Discovery Centre
  • Echuca Paddlesteamers

The following services have no patron vaccination status requirements:

  • Campaspe Shire Service Centres – customer service functions only
  • Resource Recovery Centres
  • Echuca & District Livestock Exchange
  • Campaspe Animal Shelter

On entry to these facilities, you will be asked to provide evidence of your vaccination status and, as usual, to 'check in' using the displayed QR code.

For dual customer service and library service centres in Kyabram, Rochester, Rushworth and Tongala, staff will assist with the level of check-in required, dependent on what services are being accessed.

Mr Moore thanked the community for their cooperation in advance of the changes coming into play.

"We'd like to thank the community for assisting us to work within State Government directions.
